New Production lay-out improves efficiency

Our production facility has recently undergone extensive changes to improve manufacturing ergonomics and staff well-being. The results have been welcomed by Richard Szymanski, Operations Manager who notes, “From October 2015 to May 2016 the shop floor layout has seen significant physical changes.

The new layout was designed and prepared with production flow and lean manufacture in mind. The work follows a specified route through production helped by signage and instruction. This has enabled us to achieve an increase in production output by some 14%. The new layout and signage has been commented on by operators who find the environment very good to work in which also helps increase the quality”.
