MTP®/MPO Cleaning Range Enhancements

Lite Linke is pleased to announce the addition of CLETOP and OPTIPOP cleaning products to complement its existing range of IBC brand cleaners from US Conec.  We now offer a complete range of cleaning tools designed to clean unmated connectors and connectors residing in adapters or faceplates.  By selection of the appropriate product customers are able to clean both single fibre and MTP connections efficiently and economically.

MacMillan Coffee Morning!

Congrats to all who took part in our Macmillan Coffee Morning recently.

The event was part of the nationally run fund raiser and awareness for cancer support.

Our bakers produce ten wonderful cakes with a great variety to satisfy all taste buds.

The closely fought contest was won by ‘Eric the Cake’ (Above Image) and baked by our proud baker John Tomlinson from stock control.

Over 50,000 calories was consumed throughout the event with not a soggy bottom in sight and only a few crumbs left over.

Thanks goes not only to our fabulous baker boys and girls but to all for their contributions, which raised £115.00 for a great cause.

New Optek Systems’ Lasercleave™ has been introduced to our interconnect process with exceptional results. Technical Manager, Barry Williams commented, “Laser Cleaver technology eliminates the need for mechanical scribing/cleaving and allows for the reduction of a number of polishing steps required for connector finishing with improved consistency and reliability.

As part of our new production process, we have seen time savings of up to 2hrs 40mins man hours per day”. Not only has the equipment increased accuracy and standardisation to our processes, it has benefitted us by reduced lapping film use for both air and machine polishing and subsequent consumable costs.

Held this year in the historic and cultural German city of Düsseldorf.  The aim of the show is to present our exciting new developments and search out key distribution partners across Europe and perhaps further afield. We’ll be reporting back after the exhibition with news of where our products can be purchased in your region. Sarah Hall, Mike Lenihan and Paul Desmond will be on hand to talk you through our solution.

New Production lay-out improves efficiency

Our production facility has recently undergone extensive changes to improve manufacturing ergonomics and staff well-being. The results have been welcomed by Richard Szymanski, Operations Manager who notes, “From October 2015 to May 2016 the shop floor layout has seen significant physical changes.

The new layout was designed and prepared with production flow and lean manufacture in mind. The work follows a specified route through production helped by signage and instruction. This has enabled us to achieve an increase in production output by some 14%. The new layout and signage has been commented on by operators who find the environment very good to work in which also helps increase the quality”.
